The 50 Shades of Green
Here’s another way of thinking about GREEN:
This industry is the “green” fashion industry, and no, it’s not about the color green —
but rather, the idea that clothing can be produced in an ethically responsible way
in regard to the health of the planet and the people who inhabit it.
Healthy fashion can attract a number of variables, from the materials used to make garment
and from where they were manufactured, to the transportation
of the final product and most important, how, where and by whom it was made.
The understanding that healthy fashion exists as an alternative to non-healthy fashion
is the first step to becoming a fashionista (that’s us, ladies) or fashionisto.
Wearing a solid color like black and accenting it with a green necklace or earrings is a great look.
Green is a great color for a pocketbook or purse.
Green is a nurturing color, it represents money, it is an earth color
and it creates a feel for a new beginning and growth!
